In a wilderness area surrounded by several famous mountains of Japan (Yatsugatake, Mizugaki , Kinpu). Several quiet hiking trails that are not difficult and rock climbing places. Onsen/ hot springs around, its also a major wine producing area (wine tour!).
It's a wonderful area and there is something for everyone.
The Food n Drink
We will try and prepare some traditional food made for Halloween and Bonfire Night - see below for recipes. Also a few traditional Japanese autumn dishes like oden and mushroom rice
Staying in a lodge with food (dinner, beakfast and leftovers for lunch) will cost 7,000yen. This includes heating costs, futon, bath, minivan charge etc. Children under 10 years old; 4,000yen. Children under 5 years old; Free, if you can squeeze them in the lodge. Payment will be made on the train or at Koufu station. Anyone planning to leave later MUST pay by bank transfer before the trip.
Camping in your own tent it will cost 6,000yen.
Nonmembers of OCJ (and guests) have to pay an additional 1,000yen.
